Thought my board died tonight. Eventually got it back up and running and chew* inspired me to do a 3DMark06 run on the stock cooler. Here it is:
As you can see this is on the stock AMD cooler only.
And here is my 3DMark06 result
Never thought playing with the stock cooler could be so much fun!

Heya, just saw your post.. I was wondering, how do the stock heatsink heat pipes clear the blue mounting bracket? Are they pressed against it? Got a side pic of the mobo from the top by any chance?

This is an AMD stock heatsink it should fit onto all the brackets of all the AM3 mobos
