What is the U of C PCC?
Simple, it is the University Of Calgary Performance Computing Club. My cousin Justin and I started this club with one vision in my mind; to unite overclockers, computer enthusiasts, and even average users. So we decided to draw up our constitution and get official status by the Student Union.
The club can be better referred to as a community:
We want this to be a place where people that casual computer users can come ask questions and learn a thing or two about computers.
We want this club to be a place where members can suggest and carry out their crazy tech ideas and experiments.
We want this to be a place where people can build, tweak, and troubleshoot computers.
We want this to be a place where people can get information and news about the latest and greatest technology/computer trends.
We want this to be a place where we push computer hardware to the limits of the silicon.
We want this to be a place that specializes in performance computing.
We want to make all of this happen.
Help Us Help You
Want more hardware giveaways? Crazy overclocking events? Then tell all your friends at the University Of Calgary about our club. We are brand new so we would like to garner as much attention and members as possible.
We also need dedicated members that are interested in helping out with web design, reviewing computer hardware, and lending a hand in club activities. Your help would not be taken for granted! If you wish to get involved, please email us at perfcomp@ucalgary.ca.
This club is for U of C students only! Sign up here today.
