Tuned my ram for this run. This allowed me to lower the NB speed and still beat my old result in my slushbox thread.

Hey guys. I’ve just about had it right now and heres why. I settled in last night for a cold air OC session with my usual setup. Popped open the window and began to OC. Halfway through bootup my comp simply shut down. I determined the problem to be my motherboard (MA790FXT-UD5P) , it seemed [...]

4366MHz Validation 15 Seconds is so close! A few lower degrees ambient and I am golden. However, I did get a great new validation.

Hey guys, Just ordered some ram. It looks like decent, cheap ram. However, what many don’t know is that this ram packs Micron D9 GTS IC’s. What does this mean? Well, I will be able to push these badboys very far…. A lot of regular users find it hard to get a good ram OC [...]

Well guys, made some awesome discoveries. I peeled off the heatspreaders on my ram to find Elpida IC’s glaring back at me. This was awesome, considering Elpida IC’s are failed or not up to standard Elpida Hyper IC’s. This gave me some confidence in pushing them a bit futher. Here’s a ram clock (however not [...]

Current lowest time on air with my setup yet. Setup: Phenom II X4 955 BE Retail @ 4.114GHz Gigabyte MA-790FXT-UD5P G.Skill Pi 1333MHz @ 1688MHz 7-7-7-18-1T Corsair HX520W PSU For some reason my chip does not like going higher than 4.1GHz even for a lowly 1m run.
